Have you ever wished that you could fly? Wish no more, your dream can become a reality in under two hours with the iFLY Indoor Skydiving experience. Here’s how iFLY works, you’ll get to experience bodyflight in the wind tunnel with an Indoor Skydiving instructor to help guide and teach you. This is a great activity for all ages and brings lasting memories!

Here are some frequently asked questions from iFly that may prepare you for this incredible experience.

What is a high flight?

With the high flight purchase, guests can fly higher and faster with their instructor than they would fly on their own. The high flight occurs during the last 15-20 seconds of the guest’s final flight.

Do I have to do the training session?

All first-time flyers are obliged to take the training class. You’ll get a lot of essential and important information as well as some pre-flight practice of your flying position. If you’ve flown within the last three months, you don’t have to do the training session again and can book a flight as a Return Flyer.

Will I need to take off my watch and jewelry?

Yes. You should remove any items that might flap around or become loose, such as earrings, necklaces, bracelets, watches, rings, and hair accessories. Also, you should remove everything from your pockets. We do have lockers for your use, but we recommend leaving anything valuable at home as we cannot be responsible for lost or stolen property.

What should I wear?

Please wear well-fitting tennis shoes. Other shoes are not suitable. Wear casual clothes, preferably pants and a shirt without a collar. You won’t have to change out of these clothes—you’ll put your flight suit on over your street clothes. Individuals with long hair should wear it braided and in a low bun.

How long should I plan to be there?

The iFLY experience lasts approximately an hour and 45 minutes in total. This will cover your check-in time, the training session, flight time, and time after your flight to remove gear and look at photos and video if interested. Save time by completing your waiver ahead of time.

What time should I arrive?

If you have a reservation for any of the below locations, you must arrive on time for your scheduled session. Your experience will begin promptly upon your arrival, so please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes early for your reservation so you have time to check-in.

Can I fly with my friends or family members?

We generally fly several people in each session. Your friends and family will be part of the same group, however, you will fly one at a time in the flight chamber one-on-one with your instructor. Once you have gained more flight experience, then you will be able to fly with others of the same skill level in the tunnel. If someone chooses to come to watch, he or she is welcome to accompany you through your experience and can watch from the observation area.

How old do you have to be?

Flyers can be as young as three years of age, and there is no upper age limit. Children under 18 years of age need to have a parent or guardian sign their waiver.

How do I access my photographs?

During your flight session, the driver of our wind tunnel will be taking snaps of you mid-flight. Don’t forget to smile! All photos can be viewed immediately after your flights, and they’re available to purchase in a number of formats (digital downloads, 6 x 8 prints and more). You can also access your purchased photos online for up to 3 months following your flights.

Can I complete my waiver online?

Yes. There’s an option to complete your waiver online after checkout or you can simply click here.

What is included with my flight?

iFLY offers various packages but each First-Time Flyer package includes your training session, use of all the flight gear, your flight time in the tunnel, hands on personal assistance from your instructor and a personalized flight certificate.
