Ingredients

  • 6 tbsp molasses
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 6 tbsp Maxwell House Original Ground Coffee
  • 36 ounces water
  • ¾ cup half and half
  • cups cool whip whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 tsp ground cloves
  • 1 tsp nutmeg

Instructions

  • In a bowl, combine molasses, brown sugar, baking soda, ginger and cinnamon  and mix well. Let sit for 10 minutes.
  • Brew 6 tbsp coffee and 36 ounces of water
  • Fill 6 coffee cups with ¼ cup of brewed coffee in each.
  • Add 1 tablespoon of spice mix into each cup; stir until dissolved.
  • Fill each cup to within 1 inch of the top with brewed coffee.
  • Add half and half to each cup.
  • Garnish each cup of coffee with 2 tablespoons of COOL WHIP, ground cloves and nutmeg.

Notes

Half-and-half can be substituted with milk.
