Quick and Easy Caribbean Style Chicken Wings Recipe

These wings are the perfect blend of sweet and spicy, and they are quick and easy to make for your Big Game party (or anytime). This recipe will be sure to carry you to game-day hosting victory, and this smaller recipe will allow you to still have “the spread” without the concern for too many leftovers!

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken wings, split at joints and tips removed
  • ⅔ cup HEINZ Tomato Ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon ground allspice
  • ¼ teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)
  • ⅛ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • 2 tablespoons fresh orange juice

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 400°F.

2.  Spread wings onto rimmed baking sheet sprayed with cooking spray.

  1. Bake 50 minutes to 1 hour or until done, turning after 30 minutes. Meanwhile, mix remaining ingredients until blended.

4. Remove wings from oven. Heat broiler. Brush wings with half the ketchup mixture.

  1. Broil, 4 inches from heat, 2 minutes. Turn; brush with remaining ketchup mixture. Broil additional 2 minutes.
